The Nona Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organisation established to promote cancer awareness, encourage early detection, and provide practical support to individuals affected by cancer. The Foundation was born out of a deep commitment to reducing the burden of cancer through education, advocacy, community engagement, and access to care.
Recognising that many cancer-related deaths in Nigeria and across Africa are preventable through early diagnosis and timely intervention, the Foundation works to bridge the gap between awareness and action. Through strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, government agencies, private sector organisations, and community groups, Nona Cancer Foundation is creating sustainable initiatives that empower individuals to take charge of their health.
Since its inception, the Foundation has organised awareness campaigns, free cancer screening initiatives, fundraising events for cancer patients and survivors, blood donation drives, and community outreach programmes aimed at reducing stigma and increasing access to life-saving information and services.
